The Free 52 Project {May}

The Free 52 Project is a talented group of women from all over the world who have come together to collaborate, inspire, support and have fun documenting their world with the lens off the camera.  Each month we blog our adventures in a freelensed fashion.  Be sure to click here to move to the next amazing blog of Christine Wright of Green Scapes Photography.  Leave some love for my freelensing lady friends.

Spring came early for us this year.  This made May feel like we were already in the heart of summer.  I planned to document only the new blossoms for this month's blog but I couldn't help capture my favorite subjects.

These two.  They are wresting, tumbling, dirty boys.  Life is so much better when we are all outside in the evening playing.

We've been garden prepping.  One of my favorite things to do this time of year is visit all the greenhouses.  I'm amazed we got out of here without buying some garden dinos.

This week we decided to pack lunches and spend our afternoons in nature.  On this day we had to hurry out to the nature reserve before the storms hit.  Full tummies, water, sand, flowers and creatures of all kinds.

We have also put more miles on the boat this year then ever in May.  I love spending the afternoons on a beach with friends while the boys fish and build.  Easy way to waste away the hours.

And of course Memorial day weekend would not be the same without heading north to Spider Lake.

Our eldest easily spent 11hours either in the boat or his Kayak fishing.  Two things he obviously is addicted to.  Fishing all day, fish fries in the evening (pot luck style) withe all the families.    Great way to end a great month.  I love May.
